Gramarye event came and went before I could sit down. I have to say, that juggling two works is quite a feat, hats off to anyone studying and working at the same time – how do you do it?
In little under two weeks I will be having my very first panel on how to make headbows! It’s very exciting, but also nerve-wracking! I hope I do a good job as I’m quite awkward on camera ^^;
EMIM is taking part in the online event Sea of Serenity, that will have a list of Western indie brands doing a special release and/or doing discounts in their shops. You can learn more about the event here.
I’ve made a set of pieces to release in this event and I’ll be adding a couple of ‘the orchard’ skirts, since a lot of people have been requesting for a release (this is not an official release, though).
I’ve also made a special design for an ‘Angels & Demons’ collection, that keeps getting pushed back. I’m quite happy how the design came out.
Another piece, that I designed for the event was this Lover’s Eye belt. I’v e had the idea about this design for some time now, so I finally gave it a shop. It came out way better than I expected to be honest. I hope to do other skin/eye colors in the future, if the items proves to be popular.
There will be a variety of other OOAK dresses, so keep an eye when the release comes later today.
From technical side – the release in EMIM shop will have two sides: one – secret shop will have all of the Sea of Serenity special release items and two – the rest of the shop will have a discount. Both the secret shop password and the discount will be the same and will be first announced in the event page, then in all of my social media.
It’s been a long time, but the new shop to replace tictail is now up and can be found at https://eatmeink.me
There are two main sections – general store and secret shop, that is available for StoryTellers only (you need to subscribe to the newsletter to become one).
Currently the pre-sale for Floral belts is running in the secret shop – as one of the perks for being a StoryTeller – you get early access to new designs! In this case it’s very important, since there is very limited quantities available.
Another small announcement is that Angels and Demons collection is coming soon! You can see one of the designs in recent Fanime fashion show!
The Tictail store has been officially closed now and I’m working on a new store location, that I will be announcing soon.
The orchard collection has also been finished and all orders are shipped out, so if you have ordered – check your emails for the tracking number and you should be able to access your tictail dashboard until the end of May (or so, tictail has mentioned). Message or email me, in case you haven’t.
For the future, I’m very excited for a couple of collaborations I would like to do. I will not be announcing any details until I’m sure they will be coming, but keep yourselves posted and sign up for the newsletter not to miss it.
Also, until further notice – I have a couple more commission slots open before I have to commit to the next collection (hopefully before September), so hit me up before they close up again!
The orchard collection is open for some while now, but I’ve neglected to communicate the closing of the release. The official closing date is 30th of January, but some pieces might be out of stock before the date as the OPs and JSKs have limited listings.
There’s still time to order, so be sure to take a look and see if a piece strikes your fancy.
The orchard will be finally released again on 15th of January.
I’m currently working on a new website, so hopefully the release will be open on that rather than the usual tictail or etsy shops. This information will be provided, when the release opens up.
For now, I’d like to share a small inspiration video for the release:
Thank you to Annija Pumpure for filming and partially editing the video as well as my lovely model Endija.
As some of you might know, there were some issues with postal services for the last pop-up shop event, but there’s another chance to visit it with a lot more other indie brands on January 12th! You can see more details about the event here!
Eat Me Ink Me is remote-vending at the Holiday pop-up shop in SanFrancisco on 8th-9th of December. Drop by to see all the amazing indie brands gathered up in one spot and pick up some holiday gifts for friends and family!
UPDATE: Sadly due to FedEx’s late delivery the items meant for this event were delayed, but I will be taking part in another event organized by miss Haley from “The Black Ribbon” on January, so keep your eyes peeled for date and place announcement for that.
PS. Thank you to all, who were requesting about the items at the event! It means so much to me, that you guys were looking out to see them! ♥
