Hello, Magic Mermaids!
(This is a follow up to a newsletter, so if you haven’t seen it (which you probably should sign up for -> http://eepurl.com/xCOt), but if you have, here’s the design breakdown!)
Since the last post I’ve revealed the colorways to the loyal newsletter subscribers and I’m finally doing it here, too! Here’s all of the colorways that will be available! Teal/seafoam green/cream, Royal Blue/true blue/cream, Purple/lilac/cream and Hot Pink/pink/cream ombre!
Most of the designs have clean lines, so the print can work it’s ombre magic and tell you a story of deep under sea secrets, and the details are what really make each piece. The JSK (shown in blue) has the very full bell shape skirt, that starts from the natural waist, and the bodice front has a bit of curve to hint towards a sweetheart neckline, without being too obvious. I think it add the slight elegance and feminine streak to the design. The OP has the same curve to the neckline to keep the theme going and both dresses have white lace detailing going down this curved neckline.
The straps for the JSK have double layer of ruched lace, that attach with button on the back (that has full shirring). There is an additional drop-shoulder type of strap, that will be removable to make the dress more versatile and you can play with coordinating the piece.
The highwaisted OP has full shirring. The sleeves are what make this piece – the white soft tulle is ruched up in two places and the sides are open to give a bit of whimsical feel to the dress and are finished with white lace around the elbow. Lace is also featured on the bottom hem of the dress. All pieces have organza ribbon detailing.
The skirt is semi-highwaisted. Not as high as EMIM usual highwaisted skirts, but not regular waist. It will have white lace at the bottom and organza ribbon detailing on the hem, waistline and top of the bodice. It will have slight boning to help keep it’s shape and as always – the back will be fully shirred to make it super comfortable.
I was thinking about adding a similar item in my Midnight Rhapsody release, so I finally get the chance to do it this time – an overdress! It will be made out of soft tulle and will be see-through, so a great addition to any main piece to change up the whole look! The waist will be fully shirred, so very comfortable and will fit a variety of sizes!
You can see a choker necklace doubles also as a 2-way headdress! The double headbow can be slipped to the side for a different look.
Aside from the tie-able bows on the OP all of the organza bows are removable, so you can change the look of each piece up and they have tiny iridescent rhinestones on them to match the theme.
